Fast Copy has become the standard by which its competitors hope to measure themselves. Our prices are almost always lower than the office superstores and local printshops. Our customers are our greatest resource, and our customer service ranks among the best anywhere. We are the principal copy service in Metro-Albany and Southwest Georgia, and we've got customers from as far away as Columbus to Dothan, from Apalachicola to Valdosta; from Cordele to Americus, and all parts in between including Leesburg, Sylvester, Dawson, Baconton, Cairo, Thomasville and Tifton. We also have customers from Florida, Alabama and South Carolina.

Fast Copy has simply the best equipment that money can buy, and we've been serving local folks and industries since 1994.

We offer a 20% discount on all goods and services for churches and church groups. The church's name must appear on the copies, but we printed thousands of church bulletins, program books and cookbooks every month. We also gladly copy Sunday and Vacation Bible School materials for our customers.

Fast Copy is not Pokey Printing. We offer the fastest turnaround of all copy services in Southwest Georgia. Our operating speed with all our copiers running is 30,300 copies per hour. That's more than enough copying power to meet any need. And with our three color copiers, we can produce over 5,100 full-color copies per hour as well.

A Brief History of Our Company

Fast Copy first opened its doors in December 1994 with one idea in mind: serving the copying needs of the community better than anyone else had.

Our first facility was only 500 square feet, and held one full-serve copier and one self-serve copier. We expected to produce 50,000 copies the first month. We were stunned (and very nearly overwhelmed) when at the end of the month we learned we had produced over 150,000 copies. We quickly added a full-color copier and our first staffer.

By the end of 1995, we had two production copiers, two self-serve copiers, a color copier and three staffers. We were also producing 250,000 copies per month.

In 1996, we relocated to a 1,000 square foot facility, added another color copier and another self-serve copier. By year's end, we were producing over 300,000 copies per month.

In 1997, we opened a second copy center in East Albany, and added additional equipment. Unfortunately, the second copy service proved more of a distraction than a benefit, and the people of East Albany were not being adequately served, even though we were producing 350,000 copies per month.

So in 1998, Fast Copy consolidated its operations and moved to its present 1500 square foot facility at 711-D North Westover Boulevard, in the Park Place Shopping Center, next to Blimpie's and Papa John's. We now have three high-speed copiers, two digital copiers, three color copiers and four self-serve copiers. We also expanded our finishing operations, and added a wide-format color copier, capable of producing copies up to 36" wide and 48" long.

In 1999, Fast Copy added printing services to our menu of services. Business cards, resumes, printing, envelopes, letterhead, stationery, newsletters, forms, and typesetting of all kind were added when we hired a full-time graphic artist/typesetter. We also added a digital network which allows us to print directly from disk or CD. We increased our average number of copies per month to half a million (sometimes as many as 750,000 copies are produced in our center!).

In 2000, Fast Copy continued to grow its business base. We've added an off-line collator, booklet maker, and another computer to our network, allowing us to have two typesetters working at the same time. We also have increased our number of copiers, and with our new AR program, we can accept purchase orders from any city, county, state or federal agency. At midpoint, the year 2000 looks to be the best ever for Fast Copy with sales up nearly 30%!

In 2001, Fast Copy remodeled its offices, streamlined its operations and expanded its printing services. With two full-time copier operators, two full-time graphic artists, and a full-time pressmen, Fast Copy is committed to quality service at affordable prices.

In 2002, Fast Copy downsized its printing operations, refocusing on that at which we excel: making the best copies at the best possible prices. Now with an increased staff size (two full-time copier operators, four part-time and a part-time typesetter), we're better able to serve your copying needs.

In 2003, Fast Copy continues to increase its digital copying capabilities, adding new Sharp digital copiers capable of producing booklets from your PDF file. We also moved our staff into five full-time positions, and increased the number of copies we could do per minute by upgrading our equipment.

In 2004, Fast Copy added additional digital copying power with the purchase of a Imagistics im 5520 copier. We also replaced one of our analog Sharp copiers with a new Sharp 507 digital copier, and we added another terminal to our network for digital layout.

In 2005, Fast Copy went completely digital in our production copiers. With all of our production copiers now directly connected to a network, we can assure our customers that they're truly getting the best copies at the best prices. We also added a wide format copier, capable of reproducing blueprint-sized copies and another color copier.

In 2006, Fast Copy added a digital Risograph duplicator and KIP 3000 wide-format copier. We also relocated to a slightly larger facility in a different shopping center to better serve the needs of our customers, especially in regards to easy access and better parking than ever before!

In 2007, Fast Copy replaced some of our equipment with faster digital copiers with greater capabilities. We purchased a large format HP color printer, a high-speed air-fed folder, a third Imagistics color copier and added another part-time staffer. With the new equipment, our production output doubled in terms of color and went up 50% in terms of black and white!
