The Multiverse CrisisStar Trek: The Multiverse Crisis *UPDATED*

creator/executive producer: George Kayaian
writers: George Kayaian

cast and characters: click here for detailed information
characters: characters of the Federation destroyer Hannibal and the transport/tug Aristarchus
characterizations: very good

sets: physical and location shots at a lakeshore
quality: a bit cramped on the bridge
costuming: seems a little tight; some of the badges had a tendency to roll under the arms of the performers

special effects: simplistic at first, but improving with each production to the point they're quite nice

base of operations: Franklin Square, New York

setting: U.S.S. Hannibal, during the original series

music: remixed from Dennis McCarthy and Jerry Goldsmith, with some Alexander Courage

synopses: "Infinite Chain" features an adventure that introduces us to the crew of the U.S.S. Hannibal which is trapped in a distant galaxy. The crew must find a way home before their ship is destroyed in an alien war. "Incident at Beta 9" dares to answer the greatest mystery all: what happened to the Klingons? The U.S.S. Hannibal is ordered to explore a remote section of Federation space along the Neutral Zone...

website: YouTube based
ease of navigation: typical of all YouTube sites
content: access to all six parts of this episode

notes: The first episode, "The Infinite Chain," which was filmed in 1994, is undergoing a digital 'facelift' prior to its posting. Part One of "The Infinite Chain" is now on-line (see below). There will be a total of nine segments posted eventually. The second episode, "Incident on Beta 9" is available on You Tube (see below). The third episode, "The Final Darkness," is currently being filmed/produced which should be finished soon. Each episode be viewed independently of the others. A Director's Cut of "Incident at Beta 9" will be available in HD and widescreen sometime after "The Final Darkness" is posted.

From George Kayaian:

I just wanted to let you know that I've recently posted episode 6 Infinite Chain on my YouTube Channel.  I'm working to get the next one out as soon as I can...there will probably be a total of 8 or 9 episodes for this film when all is said and done! Hope you are well!

I've already posted a new short entitled Star Trek: "Love In The Lab," a comedic side adventure featuring Thomas Roth, Daniel Sagan and Laroque the scientist.

And I've posted a deleted sequence of Infinite Chain featuring the original 1999 model shots used for the Hozshun attack vessel scene. This scene in the new version is more elaborate and bigger with all new CGI footage created and is a part of Part 4.

Also, I've had a lot of requests for some of our blooper reel footage, so there are two blooper reels posted with a third and final one for "The Infinite Chain" on the way.

Updates: The plan is to finish "Star Trek: The Infinite Chain" by the end of December. Editing is complete on the live-action for the remaining three episodes; just awaiting final visual effects now. Tentatively, episode seven and eight should be posted by early december, with the concluding episode soon after that.

If you want you to mention the Youtube "sneak peak" of Star Trek: The Final Darkness, that's cool.

Speaking of Final Darkness, we are planning to post at least the first part of it in very early 2012. Because of the many variables, there is no set date yet, but we have completed over half of the visual effects at this point. I plan to post as we finish each "part" of the film, like we did with Infinite Chain.

That's it for now! Thanks again for everything! I'll keep you in the loop as always!

This is an interesting explanation of the reasons behind the different Klingon appearance (using the Northern and Southern Klingons theory first encountered in the early 1980's). All in all, it can be a touch talky at times, and there is the illogical separation of the pair of crewmembers on the planet's surface leading to a really long time before they team up again, but I rather enjoyed it.
