Building on elements from the original concept in preperation for a re-worked and completed episode, Rick Mackey has been doing some phenomenal outlining and structure for what is sure to be a fascinating journey.

synopsis: The hybrid U.S.S. Yorktown (designed by Andrew Probert) is hastily sent on a classified covert mission under orders from Starfleet Command. The objective is to thwart the actions of a terrorist group for hire named S.H.A.R.C. in a desperate race to recover a lost Starfleet spy drone which crash lands somewhere in disputed territorial space claimed by a Klingon faction. Complicating matters is a planet bound anomaly, and the inadvertent discovery that a renegade Starfleet officer listed as missing years before is homesteading on the planet, and who also happens to be the estranged son of the famed Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu.
